Meaty Cabbage with Mozarella

I made up the name because I forgot this recipe’s real name. Got it somewhere in the internet and i’ve been cooking this when an occassion calls for a simple, keto friendly meal.


  • 1/2 kilo grind pork
  • 4 strips bacon
  • 1 medium head cabbage (chopped thinly)
  • 60 grams mozzarella cheese
  • handful of parmesan cheese
  • oregano
  • garlic

Step 1.: Heat the bacon until it yields enough oil. Remove from pan, set aside and place the grind pork, cooking it using the oil from the bacon.

Step 2: When meat is slightly brown, add chopped garlic (as much as you like).

Step 3: Allow the meat to cook some more and pour the cabbage. Do not stir. Cover. If you have to press the cabbage just so I can fit the pan do it.

Step 4: When cabbage has softened sprinkle parmesan cheese and mix them all. Cover for 60 seconds.

Step 5: Top it all with the grated mozzarella cheese. Then cut the bacon into small pieces and sprinkle on top. Serve! 🙂

Love it cause it tastes like pizza! Well, everything with mozzarella tastes like pizza 😂.
